The Kwankwasiyya Movement has renewed calls for the Federal Government to provide a detailed account of the allegations surrounding the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), saying greater transparency is needed to address growing public concern.
In a statement released by the group, the movement said the controversy has generated widespread interest due to conflicting narratives about the existence and operations of the alleged agency. It urged the government to provide clear and verifiable information to dispel uncertainty and reinforce public confidence.
The movement argued that transparency is essential whenever questions arise over the management of public institutions or allegations involving government-related activities. It maintained that an open and impartial investigation would help establish the facts and demonstrate the government’s commitment to accountability.
The PFIPC controversy has continued to attract national attention following allegations concerning its purported operations, appointments, and financial activities. The Presidency has maintained that the PFIPC is not a recognized government agency, while opposition figures and civil society groups have continued to seek further clarification on the matter.
According to the Kwankwasiyya Movement, resolving the issue through due process would strengthen confidence in public institutions and affirm the principle that all allegations should be investigated objectively and in accordance with the law.
