“How can Nigerians still vote APC?” — Due Process blasts ruling party ahead of 2027

A political commentator identified as Due Process has strongly criticised the ruling All Progressives Congress, questioning why Nigerians would consider returning the party to power in the 2027 general elections amid worsening economic and security challenges.

In a fiery statement shared online, Due Process accused the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of presiding over hardship, unemployment, poverty, insecurity, and rising cost of living across the country.

Repeatedly asking “How can?”, the commentator argued that Nigerians should reject what was described as failed governance and instead embrace what he called a civic responsibility to vote out bad leadership.

The statement further criticised what it described as increasing political intolerance and fears of a one-party system, while urging citizens to become more actively involved in defending their votes during elections rather than depending solely on politicians or party agents.

Due Process also maintained that support for Peter Obi should not be seen as a favour to the former presidential candidate, but as part of a broader national movement for accountability, economic recovery, and democratic reform.

According to the commentator, the 2027 election will present Nigerians with another opportunity to decide the direction of the country and demand leadership focused on competence, transparency, and national unity.

The statement has continued to generate reactions online as political conversations ahead of the next general election intensify across the country.
