VBM Expands Global Structure, Appoints New Country and Regional Headmasters

Abuja, August 25, 2026 — The Village Boys Movement (VBM) has announced the appointment of new Country and Regional Headmasters as part of efforts to expand its international network and strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The appointments, approved under the leadership of Maazi Tochukwu Ezeoke, National Village Headmaster, are aimed at consolidating the Movement’s structures across Nigeria and among Nigerians in the diaspora.
The newly appointed officials are:
Jonathan Ainabe — Country Headmaster, United Kingdom
Kingley Chigbo — Headmaster, West Coast Region, USA, covering California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, including Denver, and Washington State
Nnamdi Uwakwe — Headmaster, East Coast Region, USA, covering Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida
Izuchukwu Oguegbu — Headmaster, Canada
Chukwuma Ezeh — Country Headmaster, Germany
Ikenna Onuoha — Country Headmaster, Australia
Victor Olaore — Town Crier, New Media, USA
According to the Movement’s national leadership, the appointments are part of a deliberate strategy to establish a coordinated and inclusive grassroots network capable of engaging Nigerians across communities and the diaspora.
The new Country and Regional Headmasters are expected to coordinate VBM activities in their respective jurisdictions, facilitate community engagement, strengthen local structures and encourage increased participation in Nigeria’s political and civic processes.
They will also play a strategic role in mobilising human and material resources from the diaspora to support initiatives and communities in Nigeria.
The National Leadership congratulated the appointees and urged them to see their new responsibilities as a call to service rather than a position of privilege.
Maazi Tochukwu Ezeoke reaffirmed the Movement’s commitment to building a people-driven organisation that gives ordinary Nigerians at home and abroad a stronger voice and a meaningful role in shaping the country’s future.
The latest appointments further extend VBM’s international footprint across Europe, North America and Australia, positioning the Movement for increased grassroots mobilisation and diaspora engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.
The Movement also called on Nigerians at home and abroad to join its growing network and contribute their time, skills, resources and ideas towards building a better Nigeria.
