Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has dismissed reports alleging that her marriage to fellow actor Kolawole Ajeyemi is facing a crisis.
The speculation surfaced on social media after blogger Bukky Jesse reportedly claimed that the couple were no longer on good terms and that Toyin had moved into her newly built house. The claim quickly generated reactions among fans and followers of the actors.
Toyin, however, reacted to the report in the comment section, appearing to reject the allegation and praying against anything that could cause separation between her and her husband.
“Ako loruko baba, Omo ati emi mimo. Ori wa ko, eleda wa ko,” the actress wrote in response.
The statement, which was accompanied by prayer emojis, was interpreted as Toyin’s way of addressing the reports without directly engaging in a lengthy explanation of her private life.
The development is significant because Toyin Abraham and Kolawole Ajeyemi are among the well-known couples in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, and reports about their relationship frequently attract public attention. The latest allegation also highlights how social media reports about celebrities’ private lives can quickly gain traction before being independently verified.
The couple have previously spoken publicly about their relationship. In July 2026, Toyin described Kolawole as “the best thing that has ever happened” to her while discussing how he has supported her personal choices and career.
Kolawole has also previously spoken positively about their marriage, saying that love, mutual support and tolerance are important to a successful relationship.
Toyin Abraham and Kolawole Ajeyemi got married in 2019 after building a relationship within the Yoruba film industry. They welcomed their first child, Iremide, the same year. Their marriage has remained a subject of public interest, particularly whenever unverified claims about their relationship emerge online.
