Former Big Brother Naija winner and streamer, Phyna, has called out content creator Ashmusy over an alleged dispute involving an upcoming celebrity boxing event.
Phyna accused Ashmusy of attempting to have her removed from a multi-million-naira boxing deal after she introduced the content creator to the organisers. The reality star made the allegation in a video shared online on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
According to Phyna, the boxing organisers first contacted her in February to participate in a fight against a Ghanaian opponent. She later had to withdraw after discovering that the scheduled date conflicted with her wedding.
Phyna said she subsequently remained involved in helping the organisers identify potential participants. She claimed that on August 19, she suggested Ashmusy as a possible replacement and personally connected her with the organisers.
“I now suggested to the organiser, what about Ashmusy? Immediately I called Ashmusy, we spoke and she said she was down, ready and active,” Phyna said.
She alleged that after agreeing to the proposed deal and negotiating her fee, Ashmusy became difficult to reach. Phyna further claimed that she later discovered Ashmusy had allegedly asked the organisers to remove her from the arrangement and replace her with someone else.
“Do you know that since day before yesterday, Ashmusy is telling the organisers to drop me, and she has a better person to replace me,” Phyna alleged.
The accusation has generated reactions online, with social media users debating the claims and the circumstances surrounding the boxing event. Ashmusy’s response to Phyna’s allegations was not included in the reports available at the time of publication.
