NDC National Leader Hosts Presidential Candidate, Party Leaders in Strategic Unity Meeting

Abuja, Nigeria — The National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Distinguished Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, on Thursday hosted the Party’s Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi, CON, alongside other senior leaders and key stakeholders of the Party in a high-level closed-door meeting focused on strengthening unity and advancing the Party’s political objectives.

The strategic meeting, which lasted for more than three hours, provided an opportunity for the leadership of the NDC to review the Party’s activities, assess recent developments, and address issues that had generated concerns among members and supporters across the country.

Sources at the meeting disclosed that discussions were frank, constructive, and geared toward reinforcing internal cohesion as the Party positions itself for future political engagements and national responsibilities.

At the conclusion of the deliberations, all issues raised were extensively discussed and amicably resolved in the collective interest of the Party and the Nigerian people.

Speaking after the meeting, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson reaffirmed the commitment of the NDC leadership to unity, consultation, and collective action in pursuit of the Party’s vision for national transformation.

According to the National Leader, the Party remains firmly focused on its core objective of building a credible political alternative capable of rescuing Nigeria from years of poor governance and delivering meaningful democratic dividends to citizens across the country.

Senator Dickson emphasized that while differences of opinion are natural within democratic organizations, the NDC leadership remains committed to continuous dialogue, mutual respect, and consensus-building as essential pillars for strengthening the Party’s effectiveness and long-term success.

The National Leader further assured party faithful that he, alongside the Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, and other leaders of the Party, would continue to engage constructively, address concerns wherever necessary, and provide the leadership required to advance the Party’s vision of a better Nigeria.
