Odumodublvck Rejects Rufai Oseni Interview Invite Over Misspelled Name

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has declined an interview invitation from Arise TV presenter Rufai Oseni after taking issue with the journalist’s spelling of his name.

The development comes amid the ongoing public dispute between Odumodublvck and fellow rapper Blaqbonez, which has generated significant attention across Nigeria’s entertainment industry and social media.

Oseni recently interviewed Blaqbonez about the disagreement between the two artistes. Following the interview, the Arise TV presenter invited Odumodublvck to appear and give his own account of the controversy.

In the invitation, Oseni encouraged the rapper to exercise his “right of reply” and present his side of the story.

However, Odumodublvck rejected the invitation after noticing that his stage name had been misspelled in the message. The rapper expressed his displeasure in a post on social media.

“It’s Odumodublvck, sir. You cannot even spell my name right, and you want to talk to me,” he wrote. He went on to describe Oseni as a “terrible journalist” and said he would take his side of the story elsewhere.

The exchange has sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users criticising the rapper’s response while others argued that accurately spelling a guest’s name is an important part of professional communication.

The incident is significant because Oseni’s invitation was intended to provide Odumodublvck with an opportunity to respond publicly to claims and comments made during Blaqbonez’s interview. His decision to decline means the rapper has, for now, chosen not to use that platform to address the dispute.

The feud between Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez has remained a major talking point among Nigerian music fans, with both artists attracting attention over their differing accounts of the disagreement.

Both rappers are prominent figures in Nigeria’s contemporary hip-hop scene, making the fallout particularly notable within the country’s entertainment industry.
