Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has called on Nigerian authorities to ensure the safety of Prince Matthew Adeniyi Adeyemi amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the alleged Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC).
Reacting to the unfolding allegations, VeryDarkMan said the public has developed a keen interest in the matter and urged security agencies to guarantee Adeyemi’s safety while investigations continue. He stressed that the claims surrounding the PFIPC controversy should be thoroughly investigated through lawful and transparent processes.
According to the activist, any individual making allegations of public interest should be protected while the appropriate authorities verify the claims. He emphasized that accountability and due process are essential in resolving issues that have attracted widespread national attention.
The PFIPC controversy has generated significant debate following allegations relating to the purported agency’s operations, appointments, and financial activities. The Presidency has previously stated that the PFIPC is not a recognized government agency, while opposition parties, civil society groups, and other stakeholders have continued to demand further clarification and independent investigations.
VeryDarkMan’s remarks have sparked mixed reactions across social media. While some users supported his call for transparency and the protection of individuals connected to the case, others maintained that the matter should be left to law enforcement and investigative agencies to determine the facts based on credible evidence.
