Nigerian content creator and streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has denied an allegation by a woman who claimed that she is pregnant with his child.
The controversy emerged after the woman shared a video on social media in which she claimed to be carrying Peller’s baby. She reportedly said she had privately sent him what she described as a doctor’s report and alleged that he wanted her to terminate the pregnancy.
Peller subsequently responded through his WhatsApp channel, appearing to reject the allegation and issuing a warning to the woman and another person he referred to as a “babalawo.”
“Una see that lady wey talk say she is pregnant for me and that babalawo … una family go beg,” Peller said in his reaction.
The exchange has generated significant reactions on social media, with users divided over the allegation. While some questioned the woman’s claims and called for evidence, others urged people not to reach conclusions before the matter is clarified by both parties.
The development is attracting particular attention because Peller is married to fellow content creator Jarvis, and the couple have frequently shared aspects of their relationship with their large online audience.
