Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has criticised fellow artiste Blaqbonez over the latter’s alleged past relationship with his girlfriend, accusing him of interfering with her personal choices.
The dispute, which has added another layer to the rappers’ long-running fallout, erupted after Blaqbonez discussed his previous relationship with a woman during an interview. He described their connection as a “friends with benefits” arrangement and said he later discovered that she was also involved with Odumodublvck.
Odumodublvck subsequently challenged Blaqbonez’s decision to tell him about the woman’s past, arguing that she should have been allowed to decide when and how to disclose details about her previous relationship.
“What if she never told me? What if the girl wanted to tell me the next day? Who are you to take away her liberty to tell me?” Odumodublvck said in a social media post.
The rapper also accused Blaqbonez of previously threatening, bullying and harassing the woman. Those allegations have not been independently established, and Blaqbonez has disputed accusations made against him.
The controversy has attracted significant attention because it has transformed what was once viewed largely as a music rivalry into a deeply personal dispute involving relationships and competing accounts of past events.
