Charles Okocha emerged victorious in his celebrity boxing rematch against Nigerian singer Portable after the musician abandoned the fight during the opening round.
The contest, titled “Chaos In The Ring,” was held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, where fans gathered to watch the much-publicised showdown between the two entertainers.
The rematch was arranged after their first boxing encounter in 2023, a contest that ended with Portable claiming victory. Okocha later challenged the outcome, leading to another bout between the pair.
The fight got underway with both men engaging in the ring before proceedings took an unexpected turn when Portable walked out and did not return to continue the match.
Following the withdrawal, match officials declared Okocha the winner, bringing the contest to an early conclusion.
Videos from the event quickly spread across social media, prompting widespread reactions from fans and entertainment followers.
Portable has yet to explain the reason behind his decision to leave the fight, while Okocha secured the win in their second meeting, reversing the result of their first celebrity boxing contest.
