An official of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has expressed confidence in the party’s chances ahead of the 2027 general elections, stating that the party expects to expand its influence under the leadership of former Senate President David Mark and with the backing of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Speaking on the party’s political strategy, the ADC chieftain argued that recent political developments have strengthened the opposition’s resolve to present a formidable platform ahead of the next electoral cycle. He maintained that the party remains focused on building a broad coalition capable of attracting support across the country.
