The Nigeria Police Force has recorded a major breakthrough against kidnapping in Ogun State following an operation that led to the killing of two suspected kidnappers and the recovery of ₦2.2 million believed to be part of ransom proceeds collected from their victims.
According to police authorities, the operation was carried out by security operatives acting on intelligence after tracking members of a kidnapping network operating within the state and surrounding areas.
