The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has received another boost in its drive toward national cohesion and political consolidation following a high-level meeting between the party’s presidential candidate, , and prominent party leader, .
In a statement released after the meeting, RMK disclosed that he hosted Peter Obi at his Abuja residence following the former Anambra State governor’s return from what he described as a highly productive international trip.
According to RMK, the meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to engage in frank and constructive discussions on critical partisan and national issues affecting the country and the future direction of the NDC.
“Yesterday, I had the honour of hosting my brother and partner, His Excellency Peter Obi, at my residence in Abuja,” RMK stated.
He noted that he warmly welcomed Obi back from his overseas engagements and expressed satisfaction with the outcome of their discussions, which he described as productive and focused on matters of national importance.
