Peter Obi Tops Oseni Rufai’s Online Poll on Next President, Leads Rivals by Wide Margin

An online poll initiated by Oseni Rufai on who Nigerians would vote for if elections were held today has placed Peter Obi in a commanding lead over other presidential hopefuls.
The poll, which attracted over 79,000 respondents, shows Obi securing 72% of the votes, far ahead of Bola Ahmed Tinubu with 20%, Atiku Abubakar with 5%, and Rabiu Kwankwaso trailing with 3%.
The outcome reflects strong online backing for Obi, particularly among Nigeria’s digitally active population. However, political analysts caution that social media polls, while indicative of public sentiment, do not necessarily translate into real-world electoral outcomes.
Despite this, the result underscores Obi’s continued popularity in online political discourse as conversations around Nigeria’s next presidential election gradually intensify.
