Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed that her reconciliation with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, has inspired at least 10 women to rebuild broken relationships with their partners.
Dikeh shared the revelation while reflecting on her experience with forgiveness and the impact her reunion with Churchill has had on women who followed her story. She said hundreds of women contacted her after learning that she had made peace with her former husband.
According to the actress, many of the women wanted to understand how she was able to overcome years of hurt and bitterness and move towards reconciliation.
“Ever since my reconciliation with my ex-husband, hundreds of women have reached out asking the same question: How did you learn to forgive?” Dikeh said.
She explained that although she could not respond to everyone, she deliberately reached out to women whose experiences were similar to hers. She said at least 10 of them have since reconciled with their partners, with some working towards healthier co-parenting arrangements.
“Today, to the glory of God, at least 10 women have been reconciled, restoring peace, healing hearts, and stepping into healthy co-parenting,” she added.
Dikeh also used the opportunity to encourage people dealing with relationship-related pain to consider forgiveness, stressing that it should not necessarily be viewed as excusing wrongdoing.
“Forgiveness is never for the person who hurt you; it is for you. It is the key to moving your life forward,” she said.
The actress’s comments are significant because her own relationship with Churchill was previously marked by years of public disagreements following their separation.
Dikeh and Churchill married in 2015 and have a son, King Andre. Their marriage ended less than two years later, leading to a prolonged public dispute and strained co-parenting relationship. In January 2026, Dikeh announced that they had reconciled after almost a decade of conflict.
Since then, both have spoken about forgiveness, healing and prioritising their son’s wellbeing.
Dikeh’s latest revelation suggests that the reconciliation has extended beyond her family, with her personal experience becoming a source of encouragement for other women navigating difficult relationships.
