Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has commended President Bola Tinubu’s infrastructure agenda, saying the administration has undertaken significant development projects across the country while endorsing recent remarks made by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Speaking at a public event, Wike said the Tinubu administration has demonstrated a strong commitment to infrastructure development, particularly in the Federal Capital Territory, where several road networks and public facilities have either been completed or are under construction.
According to the minister, investments in transportation, urban renewal, and other critical infrastructure are helping to improve economic activities and the quality of life for residents. He maintained that the ongoing projects reflect the administration’s determination to accelerate national development despite prevailing economic challenges.
Wike also expressed support for Akpabio’s comments on the government’s infrastructure record, arguing that the current administration has placed greater emphasis on capital projects aimed at enhancing connectivity and promoting economic growth.
The minister urged Nigerians to assess the government’s performance based on completed and ongoing projects, noting that infrastructure remains a key driver of investment, job creation, and sustainable development.
