Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has revealed that Nigeria has moved past their disappointing opening defeat at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and is now focused on securing a positive result against Zambia.
The defending champions suffered a surprise 3-2 defeat to tournament newcomers Malawi in their first Group B match at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat, putting pressure on the team ahead of their next encounter.
With qualification hopes at stake, Nigeria must avoid another setback when they face the Copper Queens of Zambia in their upcoming match.
Nnadozie said the mood within the squad remains positive, adding that the players have accepted the result against Malawi and are concentrating on improving their performance.
