Former Big Brother Naija winner Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has responded to comments made by fellow reality star Segun “Sheggz” Olusemo, escalating an ongoing social media dispute involving Sheggz and his former partner, Bella Okagbue.
Phyna reacted after Sheggz reportedly alleged that she had smoked in his living room during a visit to his home. The BBNaija winner denied the claim, saying she had stayed at Bella’s residence when she visited the former couple.
In a video that circulated online, Phyna challenged Sheggz’s account of events and questioned his claims about his former relationship with Bella.
“You have no house, you lived in Bella’s house and you owe Bella over N30m, not N11m,” Phyna said.
She also alleged that she had remained close to Bella throughout her relationship with Sheggz and had witnessed difficulties involving the pair. Phyna separately claimed that she had heard an altercation between the former couple and alleged that Bella had spoken to her about being abused. These claims have not been independently established.
Sheggz has previously denied allegations of physically assaulting Bella, describing such claims as false. He said their relationship ended in January 2026 and attributed the breakup to trust issues and health challenges.
The dispute has attracted considerable attention from BBNaija fans because both Sheggz and Bella became prominent figures following their appearance on the reality television show. Their relationship continued to generate public interest even after their separation.
Phyna also accused Sheggz of hypocrisy over comments about her lifestyle, while claiming that several women had contacted her with allegations concerning his conduct. She said she had chosen not to make the alleged evidence public.
