Veteran Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has publicly dissociated himself from a viral video involving his son and popular sex therapist, Jaruma, demanding the immediate removal of his name and image from the content.
In a strongly worded statement shared on his Instagram page, the actor expressed outrage over being linked to what he described as “disgusting” and indecent material. He insisted that he has no association with Jaruma or her products and condemned the use of his identity in connection with the video.
Ike also addressed his son in the post, recounting how he had previously supported his education and made plans for him to study abroad. He stated that he had encouraged his son to complete his schooling before pursuing public attention or fame but lamented that those plans were abandoned.
According to the actor, he no longer recognises the person his son has become, describing the situation as deeply disappointing.
He further disclosed that his legal team is reviewing the matter and warned that appropriate action would be taken if his demands are not met. Ike stressed that he has spent decades building and protecting his reputation and would not allow it to be tarnished by associations he neither authorised nor endorsed.
The actor concluded by insisting that his name and photograph be removed immediately from all materials linked to the video.
