The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, has alleged that former presidential candidate Peter Obi prefers political platforms where he can secure uncontested tickets rather than building party structures.
Morka made the remarks amid ongoing political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections, claiming that Obi has a pattern of moving between parties in search of favourable conditions for nomination.
According to the APC spokesperson, Obi either lacks the capacity or the willingness to develop a strong political base within a single party, opting instead for platforms where internal competition is minimal.
The comments have since sparked widespread reactions on social media platform X, with supporters and critics engaging in debates over Obi’s political strategy and record.
While Obi has not officially responded to the latest remarks, analysts say the statement reflects intensifying political rhetoric as parties position themselves ahead of upcoming elections.
