he African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued a statement in response to widespread media reports regarding a Federal High Court judgment said to have removed the party’s elected, but not yet inaugurated, State Chairmen. The ruling, delivered by Hon. Justice Joyce O. Abdulmalik, has generated significant attention amid ongoing internal party leadership developments.
In its press release, the ADC reminded the public that following its recent congresses, the party had already clarified that the tenure of current State Executive Committees remains intact until their scheduled expiration. The party emphasized that the newly elected State Executives will only be inaugurated upon the completion of the incumbent executives’ tenures.
The ADC further assured its members and supporters that the party’s legal team has been directed to thoroughly review the court’s decision and provide guidance on the next steps.
