The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued a public disclaimer, refuting claims that the party has appointed or is inaugurating a South West Chairman.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the party cautioned members of the public against misinformation, stressing that no such appointment has been made. The ADC urged Nigerians to disregard any claims or activities suggesting the existence or inauguration of a South West Chairman at this time.
“This is to inform the general public that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has not appointed any South West Chairman. Furthermore, the ADC is not inaugurating any South West Chairman at this time,” the statement read.
The party advised members and stakeholders to exercise caution and verify information through official ADC communication channels to avoid being misled.
The disclaimer was signed by Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The party reaffirmed its commitment to due process and transparent communication, noting that any official appointments or inauguration would be formally announced through recognized party structures.
