Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has commended President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to infrastructure development, stating that the current administration has delivered unprecedented projects in the nation’s capital.
Speaking during the inauguration of completed projects in Abuja, Wike expressed support for Senate President Godswill Akpabio’s earlier remarks praising the Tinubu administration’s infrastructure record. The minister said the visible transformation across the FCT reflects the President’s commitment to improving public infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
According to Wike, the ongoing road construction, urban renewal projects, and rehabilitation of public facilities demonstrate the Federal Government’s determination to modernize Abuja and promote economic development. He maintained that the scale and pace of infrastructure delivery under the current administration distinguish it from previous governments.
The minister also commended President Tinubu for providing the necessary support and resources to enable the FCT Administration to execute key projects. He assured residents that additional infrastructure initiatives would be completed in line with the administration’s development agenda.
The remarks have generated mixed reactions among political observers.
