Okoroma Appoints Comr. Nobleiyke Edoziem as Special Adviser on Youth Affairs

The State Chairman of the (ADC) in Imo State, , has approved the appointment of Comrade as Special Adviser on Youth Affairs to the State Chairman. The appointment forms part of a broader strategy aimed at strengthening youth participation and representation within the party’s leadership structure in the state.

Comr. Edoziem, who hails from Iho–Dimeze in of , holds a degree in Political Science and has built a record of engagement in youth mobilisation, grassroots political organisation, and policy coordination through years of active involvement in student and political leadership.

He previously served as National President of the (NAISS), where he coordinated nationwide student programmes and championed advocacy initiatives focused on educational reform, student welfare, and leadership development. His tenure was marked by efforts to strengthen student representation and promote youth-driven dialogue on governance and education.

In addition to his role in student leadership, Edoziem served as Imo State Youth Leader of the (COPDEM), where he supervised statewide youth coordination structures and promoted civic participation among young people. He also previously held the position of State Youth Leader of the in Imo State, where he maintained engagement with youth organs across local government areas and wards within the party.

According to party officials, the appointment underscores the commitment of Prof. Okoroma to institutionalising youth inclusion within the party’s governance framework. The state chairman expressed confidence that Edoziem’s administrative capacity, organisational discipline, and leadership experience will strengthen youth coordination, deepen grassroots mobilisation, and further consolidate the party’s structures across Imo State.

Party stakeholders say the move reflects ongoing efforts within the ADC to empower young political actors and integrate them more effectively into decision-making processes at the state level.
