Isabell Idibia, daughter of actress Annie Idibia and music star 2Baba, has opened up about her mother’s close friendship with celebrity stylist Jeremiah Ogbodo, popularly known as Swanky Jerry.
Isabell made the revelation during an interview on Yanga FM 89.9 Lagos, dismissing suggestions that Annie and Swanky Jerry’s relationship is simply for public appearances or social media attention.
According to the teenager, the pair maintain a genuine friendship away from the cameras and remain in regular contact.
“They are actually close; it is not just for the camera. Sometimes they are even on FaceTime,” Isabell said.
She also recalled that Swanky Jerry had visited their home at one point, although she was asleep and therefore did not get to see him.
“He was at the house some time ago, but I was asleep and couldn’t see him. That is my Uncle Swanky,” she added.
The comments have attracted attention because Annie Idibia and Swanky Jerry have maintained a visible friendship over the years, with the stylist often appearing alongside the actress at social and entertainment events.
