The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has revealed that women make up the larger share of the 3.87 million Nigerians who have registered during the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the electoral body, the latest figures indicate a steady increase in voter registration across the country, with female applicants outnumbering their male counterparts.
