2027: Princess Mariana Emma Ndukwe Commends NDC Screening Process, Backs OK Ticket

An aspirant for the Owerri Federal Constituency seat under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Princess Mariana Emma Ndukwe, has commended the party for conducting what she described as a credible, transparent and fair screening process ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking after the screening exercise, Ndukwe praised the leadership of the party for ensuring due process and creating a level playing field for aspirants seeking elective positions across the country.

She also commended the Coalition for the Protection of Democracy for what she described as its selfless sacrifices and commitment towards building “a New Nigeria that is possible,” noting that the movement has continued to inspire hope, political consciousness and active participation among Nigerians.

Princess Ndukwe further reaffirmed her unwavering support for the “OK Ticket,” expressing confidence that the movement would usher in purposeful leadership, national unity and people-oriented governance in 2027.

She assured party faithful and residents of Owerri Federal Constituency that, if elected into the National Assembly, she would sponsor and support valuable people-oriented bills aimed at improving the living conditions of her constituents and advancing national development.

The aspirant lamented the deteriorating state of public healthcare facilities within the constituency, describing the situation as alarming and requiring urgent government intervention. She also expressed concern over the growing number of out-of-school children, the declining rate of employment opportunities for youths and the persistent insecurity threatening lives and property in the area.

According to her, the people of Owerri Federal Constituency deserve responsive representation that prioritizes their welfare, safety and economic advancement.

Princess Ndukwe further pledged to provide laudable legislative oversight at the National Assembly if given the mandate to represent her people, noting that effective oversight remains essential to ensuring accountability, transparency and proper implementation of government policies and projects.

She maintained that her aspiration is driven by a genuine desire to bring effective representation, quality legislation and sustainable development to the people of Owerri Federal Constituency.
