2027: Action Alliance Promotes Youth-Friendly Politics With Low-Cost Forms

The Action Alliance (AA) has declared that public office should remain a platform for service to humanity and national development, not an avenue for personal enrichment and profit-making.

Speaking on the party’s recently released nomination fees for elective positions, the party emphasized that its pricing structure was deliberately designed to encourage youth participation, grassroots inclusion, and equal political opportunities for Nigerians who may not have access to enormous financial resources.

According to the party, the high cost of politics in Nigeria has continued to discourage competent young people, professionals, and patriotic citizens from contesting elections, thereby leaving the political space in the hands of a privileged few.

The Action Alliance maintained that democracy can only thrive when ordinary citizens are given a fair opportunity to participate without being burdened by outrageous financial demands.

The party’s nomination fees were announced as follows:

✅ Presidency — N27 Million

✅ Governorship — N10 Million

✅ Senate — N3 Million

✅ House of Representatives — N1.2 Million

✅ State House of Assembly — N500,000

AA noted that the fees reflect its commitment to building a people-oriented political system where leadership is driven by competence, integrity, and service rather than the size of one’s bank account.

Political observers have described the move as a bold message to other political parties, especially at a time when concerns continue to grow over the commercialization of Nigeria’s electoral process.

The party further called on Nigerians, particularly the youth, women, and grassroots mobilizers, to take advantage of the opportunity to actively participate in governance and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
