Chief Kefas Wungak has formally declared his intention to contest for the governorship of Plateau State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The declaration was made during a meeting with party executives at the PDP office in Kanke LGA, specifically in Kwall.
During the engagement, Wungak informed members of his executive committee (EXCO) of his ambition to run for the state’s top office, signaling the start of his political campaign within the party.
In a symbolic gesture following the announcement, a supporter presented him with a staff of leadership, an act often associated with endorsement and traditional recognition.
The development adds to growing political activities within the PDP in Plateau State as aspirants begin to position themselves ahead of the next governorship election.
