Nigerian businessman and political commentator Isaac Fayose has criticised the Nigeria Police Force over its invitation of social media activist Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), urging the authorities to address public concerns about corruption within the institution.
Fayose made the comments following reports that VDM had been invited by the police in connection with allegations involving his activities and public statements.
Reacting to the development, Fayose questioned the decision to invite the activist and urged Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun to consider the wider concerns Nigerians have raised about the police.

“Even Tinubu knows police are corrupt,” Fayose was quoted as saying while commenting on the controversy surrounding VDM’s invitation.
