National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has dismissed reports suggesting he plans to leave the ruling party, insisting that he remains fully committed to the APC.
Reacting to speculation about a possible defection, Ganduje described the reports as false and without basis. He said he has no intention of abandoning the party and reaffirmed his dedication to strengthening the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the former Kano State governor, the APC remains focused on consolidating its achievements and expanding its support base across the country. He urged party members to disregard rumours capable of creating unnecessary tension within the party.
Ganduje also called on APC supporters to remain united and committed to the party’s objectives, stressing that internal cohesion is essential to maintaining political stability and electoral success. He expressed confidence that the APC would continue to attract more members despite growing political realignments ahead of the next general elections.
The clarification comes amid heightened political activities, with several politicians across party lines involved in consultations, alliances, and defections as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
