COPDEM Congratulates Members Who Obtained Expression of Interest Forms

The leadership of Coalition for the Protection of Democracy (COPDEM) has congratulated its members across the federation who have successfully obtained Expression of Interest forms to contest for various political offices ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued by the group’s leadership, COPDEM described the decision of its members to participate in the democratic process as a courageous and patriotic step at a critical period in Nigeria’s history.
The organization noted that amid worsening economic hardship, insecurity, and growing public dissatisfaction, the willingness of aspirants to offer themselves for public service represents renewed hope for national transformation and responsible leadership.
COPDEM further wished all its aspirants success as they proceed through the nomination processes and party primaries across different political platforms.
According to the statement, the coalition remains committed to promoting credible, competent, and people-oriented leadership in Nigeria. It added that once its members secure their party nominations, the COPDEM global network across Nigeria and the diaspora would be fully mobilized to support their campaigns and electoral victories.
