The Obidient Movement has raised concerns regarding the functionality of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) result viewing portal, alleging that results uploaded from certain polling units are not currently visible on the platform.
In a statement attributed to the movement’s leadership, it was claimed that the INEC Result Viewing (IReV) server is active but not displaying results that were “reportedly uploaded successfully” from various polling units.
The group called on its supporters and other Nigerians to remain alert and vigilant as the collation process continues. It also encouraged citizens, where necessary, to peacefully observe proceedings at the Area 10 INEC office and in Karu, while emphasizing the importance of lawful conduct.
Supporters were further advised to retain accurate copies of results from their respective polling units to enable verification during the collation process.
The statement stressed the need for calm and adherence to the law, urging citizens to protect the integrity of the electoral process through peaceful and legitimate means.
As of the time of filing this report, INEC has not issued an official response to the concerns raised about the IReV portal.
