The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has intensified its criticism of the Federal Government over the continued detention of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, describing the development as a threat to democratic principles and the rule of law.
In a statement issued by the party, the ADC expressed concern over El-Rufai’s continued custody, urging the authorities to uphold constitutional provisions relating to due process, fair hearing and the protection of fundamental human rights.
