COPDEM delegation meets ADC Membership Revalidation, Mobilisation and Registration MRMR Committee in Abuja – COPDEM Media Tv.

Coalition for the Protection of Democracy COPDEM delegation had a productive meeting with the ADC Membership Revalidation, Mobilisation and Registration MRMR Committee in Abuja over the weekend. The COPDEM delegation had series of sessions with the Committee briefing the Chairman of the ADC MRMR Committee and his team on the activities and the structural outlook of the ADC National Directorate of Mobilisation, Civil Societies and Progressive Engagements.

You will recall that the ADC National Directorate was established by the founder of the, former National Chairman of ADC; Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu on the 31st January 2025 with a clear mandate to mobilize Nigerians into the ADC targeting the excluded citizens in the informal sectors like the traders, market women, youths, students of higher institutions, socio-cultural groups, tribal associations, civil societies, professional bodies, first-time voters and indeed the downtrodden well-meaning Nigerians who have been neglected by the government. Prince Pam Rwang Junior was appointed as the Director General of the Directorate and Amb. Lilian Slee Ukoha as the Deputy of the Directorate.

The ADC MRMR Committee was inaugurated by the National Chairman of the ADC, Senator David Mark, under the chairmanship of Alh. Kashim Ibrahim-Imam with a clear mandate to mobilize Nigerians into the ADC, register new members and revalidate existing members through ward membership registration Nationwide with a 30 days mandate to conclude this assignment.

The meeting was attended by Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu who highlighted the roles played by COPDEM in the ADC and a COPDEM delegation led by Prince Rwang Pam Junior. The delegation provided a detailed briefing on the origin, mandate, and operational scope of the ADC National Directorate of Mobilisation, Civil Societies and Progressive Engagements.

In his remark, the Chairman of the ADC MRMR Committee, Alh Kashim Ibrahim-Imam was elated to meet the Directorate as he assured the Committee that the ADC is happy for the milestone achieved by the Directorate as his Committee aims to replace the old order with brand new set of youthful Nigerians to reset the era. He recalls his struggle in the political scene to ensure that Nigeria get it right for the past 40 years in the struggle. He assured that MRMR Committee will work closely with ADC Directorate of Mobilisation, Civil Societies and Progressive Engagements in bringing young people into the ADC as the new face of Nigerian political landscape.

In his presentation, Prince Pam Rwang Junior reeled out the Record of Mobilisation Achievements:

For transparency and institutional continuity, the following achievements were formally placed on record:

  • Funding and facilitation of the production of 20,000 official ADC membership cards, at a total cost of ₦10,000,000.
  • Successful mobilisation of 20,000 card-carrying members into the African Democratic Congress through structured and coordinated nationwide efforts.
  • All activities were conducted in good faith and in full compliance with the ADC Constitution, leadership authority, and established party structures and committees under the Directorate.

The Deputy Chairperson of the ADC MRMR Committee Aisha Yesufu was in attendance as she demanded more inclusion of women in the Directorate and sought modalities of collaboration with the Directorate. Other members of the Committee were also in attendance as they engaged the delegation throughout the meeting.

The head of the delegation Prince Pam Rwang Junior thanked the MRMR Committee for the reception and audience granted by the Committee and promise to continue the ADC mobilization with a renewed vigor. Members of the delegation include

Addressing the press after the meeting, Prince Pam Rwang Junior reiterated that the Directorate was established on 31 January 2025 by Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu, the founder and immediate past National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, as part of a deliberate strategy to deepen grassroots participation, strengthen party structures, and expand the ADC’s national footprint. Prince Rwang Pam Junior was appointed as the Director General to coordinate the Directorate’s activities in support of the National Leadership and in collaboration with existing party organs.

These efforts, along with a forward-looking mobilisation framework, were discussed in detail and formally presented to the ADC MRMR Committee Chairman. He called on well-meaning Nigerians to embrace ADC to rescue Nigeria from imminent existential collapse.
