BREAKING: “Where Is the Court Order?” — Malami Accuses Tinubu APC of Political Persecution

Former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, has issued a strong rebuke over what he described as an unlawful intrusion, demanding legal justification for the action.
In a statement that is already drawing widespread attention, Malami questioned the authority behind the move, insisting on due process and respect for the rule of law.
“Where is the court order authorizing this action? Show me the legal warrant that empowers you to invade my home,” he said, further accusing the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) under President Bola Tinubu of political persecution. Malami described the incident as part of a broader pattern targeting opposition figures and dissenting voices, claiming it reflects the APC’s desperation after losing the appeal of the masses.
In a related development, the arraignment of former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, today at the Federal High Court is being cited by critics as further evidence of President Tinubu’s alleged push toward a one-party system in Nigeria.
The twin incidents have reignited debates over citizens’ rights, judicial independence, and the limits of executive influence, with observers warning that such actions could deepen political tensions and erode public trust in Nigeria’s democratic institutions.
