Abuja — Unverified claims have surfaced alleging that significant financial inducements may have been offered to influence the visibility of political content on X, particularly posts critical of Nigeria’s ruling party.
The allegations, which have not been independently confirmed, suggest efforts to suppress the reach of opposition-leaning narratives on the platform owned by Elon Musk. The allegation further noted that some X accounts suffered suspension for posting against Tinubu APC.
