ADC Registration update: Imo State ranked 15th; Push for top 5 gains momentum

The latest consolidated registration figures of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) indicate a growing nationwide grassroots expansion, with total membership now estimated at approximately 2,374,000 members across the federation.
Leading the rankings are Kaduna State (238,465) and Adamawa (236,331), followed by Kano (145,650), Gombe (142,610), and Rivers (130,666), reflecting strong mobilization efforts in key regions.
Imo State, with 64,424 registered members, currently occupies the 15th position on the national table. While this represents a solid foundation, it also highlights significant room for growth given the state’s political strength, population, and strategic importance within the ADC’s national outlook.
This ranking serves as a clear call to action for all stakeholders—party leaders, coordinators, support groups, and grassroots mobilizers—to intensify efforts across all fronts. There is an urgent need to scale up registration drives, community engagement, and targeted awareness campaigns in every ward and local government area.
The pathway to elevating Imo into the Top Five is both achievable and time-sensitive. It requires a unified, data-driven, and result-oriented approach anchored on:
Aggressive grassroots mobilization
Structured ward-to-ward registration targets
Enhanced youth and community participation
Coordinated communication and digital outreach
Every member has a role to play. Every structure must be activated. Every opportunity must be maximized.
With discipline, commitment, and collective resolve, Imo State can significantly improve its standing and emerge as a leading force in the ADC’s national movement.
The time to act is now.
