The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has congratulated its newly elected State Executives and Chairmen across the country following the successful conduct of its state congresses.
In a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC described the elections as peaceful and in line with its constitution, noting that the process reflects the party’s commitment to internal democracy, transparency, and the rule of law.
The party also announced that the formal inauguration of the newly elected officials is scheduled for May 12, 2026, with a possibility of adjustment to a later date to be communicated by the National Working Committee.
According to the statement, party members and stakeholders were commended for conducting themselves with discipline and maturity throughout the congresses.
The ADC urged the incoming executives to remain committed to the party’s vision and align with the leadership of its National Chairman, David Mark, as they work to strengthen the party’s structures nationwide.
The party expressed confidence that the new leadership at the state level would contribute to its growth and enhance its engagement with citizens ahead of future political activities.
