Political activist and commentator Due Process has launched a new mobilisation campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections tagged “Operation Flush Tinubu, APC Out of Aso Rock Before 12:00pm.”
The campaign, which is already generating reactions across social media platforms, is aimed at encouraging massive voter participation and strengthening grassroots political awareness ahead of the next presidential election.
Speaking during the unveiling of the movement, Due Process declared that an alliance between Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso remains the best political option for Nigeria in 2027.
According to him, the proposed Obi/Kwankwaso (OK) ticket represents a strategic union between Northern and Southern Nigeria after years of political propaganda that have fueled division, distrust, and hatred across regions.
He argued that both regions have historically suffered manipulation from political elites who exploit ethnic and regional sentiments to retain power, adding that the OK alliance symbolizes national unity, competence, and hope for ordinary Nigerians.
Due Process described the ticket as “the surviving hope of the masses,” insisting that it represents good governance, quality education, improved healthcare, security, employment opportunities, good road infrastructure, economic revival, and poverty eradication.
He further stated that the campaign is a peaceful democratic movement designed to mobilise citizens dissatisfied with the current economic realities under the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress.
According to him, rising fuel prices, food inflation, unstable electricity supply, unemployment, business collapse, and worsening hardship have increased public frustration across the country.
Due Process also dismissed claims that votes do not count in Nigeria, arguing that politicians themselves understand the power of the electorate.
“If votes do not count, politicians would not be running after voters with Indomie, spaghetti, rice, and other inducements during election periods,” he stated.
He urged Nigerians, particularly youths and first-time voters, not to surrender to fear, hopelessness, propaganda, tribalism, or religious manipulation ahead of the 2027 elections.
The activist maintained that elections remain a powerful democratic tool capable of determining the future direction of the country if citizens participate actively and protect their votes.
The announcement has continued to spark reactions online, with supporters describing the campaign as a reflection of growing public dissatisfaction, while critics insist that political movements should focus more on practical policy alternatives and national unity.
As political alignments ahead of 2027 continue to intensify, conversations surrounding coalition politics and opposition alliances are increasingly shaping Nigeria’s political landscape.
