The Northeast Coordinator of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Door-to-Door Movement, Comrade Zakari Hashim, has reportedly been involved in a road accident in Bauchi State while travelling to Maiduguri, Borno State, to attend an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign meeting.
Hashim, who is a prominent grassroots mobiliser for President Tinubu in the Northeast, was reportedly on his way to the meeting when the accident occurred.
Preliminary information indicates that the crash was linked to the poor and deteriorated condition of the road, raising fresh concerns over the state of critical road infrastructure in the region.
