Rita Daniels Breaks Silence on Regina’s Ned Nwoko Visit, Says ‘She Was Invited’

Rita Daniels, mother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has clarified reports surrounding her daughter’s recent visit to the residence of her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, amid widespread speculation that the pair may have reconciled.

Rita reportedly addressed the development in a private conversation with actor and social commentator Uche Maduagwu, whose account of the exchange was subsequently shared on social media. She explained that Regina’s visit was simply to see her children and should not be interpreted as evidence of a reconciliation.

“She was invited to see her children, that was what happened,” Rita said, according to reports. She also responded, “It is well my dear,” while thanking Maduagwu for his support and concern.

The clarification comes after a video showing Regina at Nwoko’s residence circulated online, prompting social-media users to speculate that the actress had returned to her marriage.

The development is significant because Regina and Nwoko’s relationship has attracted considerable public attention since reports of marital difficulties emerged. Social-media discussions have continued to generate competing interpretations of their movements, making statements from people close to the actress particularly relevant.

Rita’s comments, however, do not confirm that the couple has resumed their relationship. Instead, they provide an alternative explanation for Regina’s presence at Nwoko’s residence: a visit to spend time with her children.

Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko married in 2019 and have two sons together. Their relationship has remained a subject of public interest, particularly following reports of separation and changes to Regina’s social-media presence in 2025. Neither the latest visit nor Rita’s clarification, by themselves, establishes that the couple has reconciled.

The latest development therefore leaves the status of Regina and Nwoko’s relationship unresolved, while highlighting how quickly private family matters can become subjects of public speculation in the social-media era.
